July 22, 2015
Having a good sitting posture will help you avoid injury, reduce pain, increase your productivity at work and increase your comfort.
Remember:
- Keep your head aligned with your spine
- Relax your shoulders
- Have your elbows at 90° angle
- Adjust the seat forward to reduce your reaching distance to a minimum
- Sit with your bottom at the very back of the seat, with your weight even through both sitting bones
- Adjust the height of the chair so your knees are level or just below your hips
- Keep your feet flat on the floor
- Don’t cross your legs
- Feet should be in front of your knees
