Physiotherapy Matters and the NHS....
Physiotherapy Matters is a leading Northumberland & Newcastle NHS Physiotherapy Provider. We take a keen approach to schemes for NHS patients. This is for the provision of assessment and treatment for conditions such as neck and back pain, Arthritis, joint pain, post operative rehabilitation and muscle conditions.
As a Northumberland & Newcastle NHS Physiotherapy Provider, our aim is to provide direct assess diagnostics, treatment methods such as mobilisation for pain management and relief, but more so for prevention education and early intervention with self-help tools for optimal, long term results.
PML's Physiotherapy provision for NHS projects isdiverse, dynamic and comprehensive in that it includes options such as; telephone triage, educational workshops for back and neck pain management and injury prevention alongside treatment followed by self-help advice, eliminating long waiting times and the influx of inappropriate referrals for secondary care, consultant intervention or even surgery, resulting in reduced costs to the NHS.
PML NHS services are a continuum of Physiotherapy Matters high standards and quality assurance which can be supported by an adherence to CQC standards and the registration process for ISO 9001 UKAS accreditation.
With 5 clinical locations across the North East, Physiotherapy Matters enable prompt, accessible, convenience for patients with attention to disability and chronic pain conditions.
The overall objective for NHS contracts is working collaboratively with Physiotherapy Matters to ensure high quality of treatment, provide a choice of service for high volumes and reduce waiting times and costs to the NHS through an economical, proactive service as opposed to a conveyor belt approach to Physiotherapy for back, neck pain and more.
Physiotherapy Matters endevours to be part of new schemes such as 'Choose and Book' and 'Any Qualified Provider' and are in the process of enabling and establishing this status.
