Andy graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2011 and has worked as a chartered physiotherapist since. Andy initially worked within a specialised neurological rehabilitation center for patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, other neurological conditions and mass orthopaedic trauma; providing specialist musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy, hydrotherapy,  gait re-education and trained patients in advanced wheelchair skills.

Andy then moved to specialise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, working in private clinics. He has worked within occupational health contracts, sports injuries and sports rehabilitation. Successfully treating patients with a range of pathologies including whiplash associated disorder, chronic back pain, migraines and cluster headaches. In March 2017 Andy studied at the University of Nottingham and qualified as a Steroid Injection Therapist, providing both joint and soft-tissue assessment and injections.

Andy has also worked with rugby union and league teams in both Northern and National Leagues; providing assessment, treatment and strengthening exercises utilising a gym instructors qualification.

Andy states “as a manual therapist I understands the need for improved tissue quality and correct biomechanical movement patterns to allow for superior strengthening and rehabilitation of the individual back to their pain free active best”.
