Senior MSK Physiotherapist
BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
Emma qualified with a BSc Hons degree in Physiotherapy from Northumbria University in 2017. Since then she has specialised in MSK practice, completing an Accelerated Development Programme in MSK.
She has worked in primary care centres, treating and managing a wide variety of conditions, from acute sporting injuries to chronic pain. This has enabled her to have a good understanding of how conditions affect each individual differently, and the importance of person centred treatment and management. She has a keen interest in exercise prescription and effective rehabilitation, as well as hands on treatment, helping patients to improve their function and return to doing what they love.
She has a specialist interest in running related injuries and lower limb biomechanics, which comes from a love for running herself. As well as road and trail running, Emma loves going to the gym, and anything that involves getting out in the countryside.
