BSC(Hons) Physiotherapy, HCPC registered

Graduated at Northumbria University in 2019. Previously graduated at Sunderland University in 2016 with 1st class honours degree in Exercise Health and Fitness. Also qualified as a gym instructor (level 3) and personal training at Sunderland University in 2015. Since graduating as a Physiotherapist Lorna has also trained as a Sports Massage Therapist (Level 3).

 

Lorna has completed work placements at the QE hospital in respiratory, the RVI Hospital in MSK outpatients, the QE hospital in Neuro rehab, the Disabled Services Centre at the Freeman hospital working with amputee patients and Intermediate care at South Tyneside hospital. Lorna has previously worked for 4 years as a Physiotherapy Assistant in Orthopaedics for the Newcastle trust whilst studying physiotherapy. Prior to studying physiotherapy Lorna has volunteered for Sunderland Council Health Champions and worked at local gyms helping with exercise referral classes.

 

Lorna is hardworking and extremely motivated. She enjoys keeping fit and is a keen cyclist and regularly attends strength and conditioning. She enjoys the outdoors and taking on new challenges.
