ACPOHE

The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health and Ergonomics (ACPOHE) is a Professional Network of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and was founded in 1947.

 

Physiotherapist who are registered members of ACPOHE have demonstrated specialist competency in the fields of occupational health or ergonomics.

 

ACHOPE is for Physio’s who work to improve the health and wellbeing of workers so they can do their jobs as effectively and efficiently as possible. It looks to improve work design through ergonomics and make jobs safer and more comfortable, removing long and short term risks.  

 

An ACPOHE Occupational Physiotherapist typically can produce a return on investment for an organisation of £3 for every £1 spent.

SEQOHS

We are currently working towards our SEQOSH accreditation.

 

Since its launch, the SEQOHS accreditation scheme has fast become an essential part of the occupational health service landscape, accepted in both the public and private sectors as the recognized industry standard.  SEQOHS accreditation offers independent and unbiased recognition that the occupational health service provider has objectively demonstrated their competence.

Physiotherapy Matters are accredited to the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management standard, having been initially awarded accreditation to the 2008 standard in 2012 and have since maintained compliance.  In 2017 we transitioned to the 2015 standard and were successful at the first attempt.
