We operate with an understanding of the pressures faced by commissioners regarding keeping costs and waiting lists down, Physiotherapy Matters strives to reduce both significantly through our efficient and quality driven approach to treatment and wellbeing.

Our treatment of MSK conditions is achieved through dynamic and innovative methods of service such as:

Face to Face


appointments can be made for more complex MSK complaints or where telephone triage has not been effective. These can be carried out at any one of Physiotherapy Matter’s 4 clinic locations/or at GP practices. Initial assessments are usually arranged within 48 hours of referral significantly reducing waiting times. Treatments are then booked in at suitable times for the patient.

Group Based Activity


this option is appropriate and economical for chronic conditions. Physiotherapy Matters adopts proven NICE pathways and guidelines for exercise based classes, in particular for neck and back pain complaints. The classes are community-based for patient convenience and interactivity. They have a maximum capacity of 10 per class in order for the Senior Physiotherapist to maintain a 1-2-1 feedback/focus relationship per patient involved.

Telephone Triage


a rapid access service consisting of an initial assessment, provisional diagnosis and self-help advice from a Chartered Senior Physiotherapist.
