Tailored Pilates Sessions to Meet Your Needs

Not everyone enjoys group classes, which is why we offer customised Pilates sessions to suit your preferences. Choose from 1:1 or up to 1:4 sessions to enhance your general exercise routine.

Whether you’re aiming to boost your strength, mobility, and toning, or complement your current workout regime like running or cycling, our Pilates sessions can help you achieve your goals. Additionally, if you’re recovering from an injury, our Pilates sessions can be a beneficial part of your rehabilitation process.

Why Pilates?

Pilates uses slow, controlled movement patterns to work on the deeper, stabilising muscles in the body. This helps with muscular endurance and stability. There is also a focus on spinal mobility and breathing patterns.

The sessions are all Physio led, using the APPI method of training, which is the gold standard qualification for physio led Pilates and often used in the field of rehabilitation.

Being physio led, this means that there is more of a focus on rehabilitation either whilst managing an injury, or post injury. Physio led Pilates is also great to help prevent or reduce risk of injury through specific exercises tailored to you and your sport and can be a valuable part of your training programme.

In your 1:1 or 1:2 session, we will work together on assessing movement patterns and progressing through different levels of exercises including full body strengthening and mobility, which can help to reduce lower back pain as well as other musculoskeletal pain and postural related issues.

The exercises prescribed will be specific to you and your goals and can be emailed to you so you can practice them at home. All levels are welcome, and anyone can benefit from Pilates.
