Darren Scott

Darren qualified as a physiotherapist in 2018 after completing a pre-registration MSc in Physiotherapy at Northumbria University. Prior to this, he earned a BSc in Sports Science, laying a strong foundation for his clinical career.

After qualifying, Darren gained broad physiotherapy experience in the NHS across a range of settings, including orthopaedics, older adult rehabilitation, and post-stroke physiotherapy. Following this he worked as a senior physiotherapist in a busy NHS musculoskeletal service, where he specialised in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.

Darren has extensive experience managing a wide spectrum of neuromusculoskeletal conditions; from acute sports injuries to persistent issues such as chronic pain or osteoarthritis. He is also highly skilled in post-operative rehabilitation, and has regularly worked with patients recovering from procedures such as knee replacements and spinal decompression surgery.

He has a particular interest in lower limb injuries but is equally confident treating conditions affecting the shoulder, spine, and other areas.

Outside of work, Darren balances a busy family life while staying active through home workouts and running.
