Edward qualified in 2001 at Teesside University with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy researching his dissertation in the field of scoliosis. Edward progressed through from a junior to senior level rotational physiotherapist at the James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough. Edward focused his skills into musculoskeletal physiotherapy in 2005 at the University Hospital of Hartlepool progressing to Senior 1 level and as a locum working nationally before becoming self-employed in 2007, working within GP/NHS clinics and private clinics in the North East. Through this time, Edward became more involved in assessing and treating occupational health related clients and is currently ACPOHE registered.

Edward has a specialist interest in soft tissue therapy since completing a foundation level course in myofascial release in 2008/9 and has deepened his skills and knowledge base through similar courses since.

Edward currently operates as the Senior Occupational Physiotherapist for Northumbria Police alongside additional work within the private practice setting
