We will work with you to develop a suitable treatment plan involving evidence-based, up-to-date approaches including exercise therapy, manual therapy or acupuncture.

Clinical Specialist Physiotherapy

Home Visits

Shockwave Therapy
We are one of the only physiotherapy clinics in the Northeast offering the scientifically proven Extracorporeal Shockwave
Therapy (ESWT), which is a non-invasive treatment that assists with the body’s natural healing process. It involves sending
shockwaves through your skin towards the painful, affected and damaged tissue. Highly effective for Tendon problems.

Ostenil Injections
Ostenil is an injection treatment for the symptoms of osteoarthritis and is injected into the affected joint. Over the course of the treatment, you should start to feel less pain and stiffness as well as prolong the health of your joint.

Cingal Injections for Knee Arthritis
Cingal is an injection combining Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Viscosupplement and Corticosteroid in a single injection for the management of Osteoarthritis of the knee.

Corticosteroid Injections
Steroid injections can be used to manage inflamed areas causing pain, such as arthritic joints due to Osteoarthritis or
Rheumatoid Arthritis, frozen shoulder, carpel tunnel and bursitis. This is rarely a stand-alone treatment and should be
accompanied by appropriate rehabilitation of the problem area.

Therapist-Led Pilates, Strength & Conditioning or Rehabilitation (50 mins)
Our Physio-Led sessions are designed to improve strength, flexibility, posture and balance and are led by a Therapist who is
able to tailor the programme for the individual (s).

Therapist-Led Classes (50 mins)
Our range of health and fitness classes are suitable for all ages and abilities. All classes are run in small groups of 6-8
participants for optimum quality and results, located at our head office clinic at Regent Centre.
A range of fitness, health and wellbeing classes including: Pilates, Stable and Able, Running Strength and
Conditioning.

Women’s Health Service
Women’s health physiotherapy can help with pelvic floor dysfunction, stress urinary incontinence, pregnancy related pelvic pain and prolapse, as well as low back and pelvic pain. Our physiotherapist will carry out a thorough assessment to help identify any areas that are contributing to pain or dysfunction and provide a rehab plan focusing on functional exercises for the pelvic floor.

Running Gait Analysis
Our gait analysis is suitable for runners of any level. The sessions are all led by a gait analysis trained Physiotherapist,
consisting of video analysis which helps to inform a rehab plan including running technique tips, strengthening exercises and
suitable warm up advice to improve performance, prevent injuries or whilst recovering from injuries.
