On April 24th, it’s On Your Feet Britain, a nationwide awareness day aimed at encouraging desk-based workers throughout the UK to increase their physical activity! This initiative promotes various ways to stay active, such as standing during phone calls, taking a walk during your lunch break, and opting for stairs whenever possible. The advantages of moving more are widely recognized, including enhanced concentration and better physical and mental well-being.

Stress Awareness Month takes place every April, serving as a dedicated time to concentrate on stress management and overall well-being.

During this month, various organisations and communities come together to raise awareness about the impact of stress on our mental and physical health. It’s an opportunity to share resources, strategies, and support to help individuals manage stress more effectively. Emphasising the importance of self-care, Stress Awareness Month encourages everyone to take a moment to reflect on their stress levels and prioritise practices that contribute to a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.

By focusing on stress management, we can improve our quality of life and foster a more resilient and supportive community. Exercise is a great way to manage stres, Why not check out our classes here and remember your first class is FREE.
