Benefits of massage
Massages offer significant benefits, especially after sporting events. They not only help reduce muscle soreness but also enhance recovery, muscle tone, and tension.
Additionally, massages can improve circulation, which facilitates the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to tired muscles, aiding in their repair and growth.
Incorporating regular massages into your training regimen can lead to improved flexibility and a greater range of motion, reducing the risk of injuries. It also helps in the early detection of potential muscle issues, allowing for timely intervention and treatment.

Exercise of the Month
Shoulder taps are a variation of the plank exercise that targets the shoulders, triceps, quads, and core, offering a comprehensive full-body workout. Incorporating this variation into your routine can enhance both strength and balance effectively.
To perform the shoulder tap :
1. Start in the plank position , engage your core and make sure your hands are directly underneath your shoulders.
2. Keep your head in the same line as your spine so you don’t strain your neck.
3. Lift one hand off the ground and tap the opposite shoulder , – Make sure you keep the rest of your body still and not swaying! Repeat for the other side for the desired number of reps.
